Filmmaker Asim Raza’s Parey Hut Love has won international acclaim; the film recently bagged the Best Film in Wholesome Entertainment award at the South Asia Forum for Art and Creative Heritage’s (SAFACH) International Film Festival.
SAFACH presents South Asia’s first borderless-international travelling film festival, Indus Valley International Film Festival (IVIFF). It organized its third edition last month from Dec 18 to Dec 23 in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Asim Raza shared the news on his Instagram with a thank you note to his team. “Congratulations to the most amazing team in the world, I am so blessed to be a part of you.”
Parey Hut Love had a star-studded cast with actors Sheheryar Munawar, Maya Ali, Ahmed Ali Butt, Zara Noor Abbas, Nadeem Baig, Hina Dilpazeer, Rachel Viccaji, Frieha Altaf and Parisheh James amongst others.
It is a story of an unlikely romance between a young free-willed, commitment-phobic aspiring actor, Sheheryar, and a beautiful strong-willed expat, Saniya, who meet and fall in love over a series of unplanned encounters at destination weddings.
